『重ね色目ピアス・イヤリング/櫨紅葉・霜月』
京友禅染で一点ずつ正絹着物生地を染めた耳飾りです。

◾️霜月　重ね色目『櫨紅葉』

「櫨紅葉（はじもみじ）」は、秋に美しく紅葉するハゼノキの葉の色を表現した、平安時代からの伝統的な重ね色目（かさねいろめ）です。

表：朽葉
裏：黄

由来：秋の澄んだ空の下で、燃えるように赤く色づく山櫨（やまはぜ）の葉の表と裏の微妙な色合いを重ね着の濃淡で表現しています。
ウルシ科のハゼノキ（櫨の木）は、かつて実から木蝋をとるために盛んに栽培され、細工物の艶出しや蝋燭の原料とされてきました。
ハゼの紅葉は、最初が黄色で、次第にオレンジになり、最後には真っ赤に染まっていき一際燃えるように美しく輝いています。

絹ならではの光沢と発色が美しく、淡水パールがより一層上品な印象を与えます。
コーディネートのポイントに、また誕生日月の贈り物としてもおすすめの一品です。

平安時代の宮中で着物を重ね着する際、時節によって配色が決められていました。世界最古の配色便覧とも称されています。

京友禅は日本の伝統工芸の一つで着物を染める技法のことを指します。
手作業で作られているため、少々ばらつきがございます。

・水濡れや汗はシミ、色落ちの原因となりますので避けてください。
・強い光や直射日光は避けてください。褪色が進みます。

These are earrings dyed with Kyoto Yuzen dyeing.

November (Shimotsuki) — Layered Color Combination: "Wax Tree Autumn Foliage" (Haze-momiji)

"Haji-momiji" is a traditional *kasane-irome* (layered color combination) dating back to the Heian period; it captures the hues of the wax tree's leaves as they turn a beautiful red in autumn.

Outer side: Sappanwood
Inner side: Yellow

Origin: Beneath the clear autumn sky, the subtle interplay of colors found on the upper and lower surfaces of the *yamahaze* (Japanese wax tree) leaves—which turn a brilliant, fiery red—is expressed through the varying shades of layered garments.
A member of the sumac family, the *hazenoki* was once widely cultivated for the vegetable wax extracted from its fruit, a material used to polish handicrafts and manufacture candles.
The tree’s autumn foliage undergoes a striking transformation: the leaves start out yellow, gradually shift to orange, and finally turn a vivid, deep red, glowing with a particularly intense, fiery beauty.

The shine and color of the silk, combined with the freshwater pearls, gives it an elegant impression.

When layering kimonos at the Imperial Court during the Heian period(C7〜C12), color schemes were determined according to the season. It is said to be the world's oldest color scheme guide.

Kyo-Yuzen is a traditional Japanese craft and is a technique for dyeing kimonos.
This product is using the hand-dyed Kyo-Yuzen dyeing method. As it is made by hand, there may be slight variations in color.
The pattern may also appear differently depending on how the fabric is cut.
