『重ね色目ピアス・イヤリング/若蝦手・文月』

京友禅染で一点ずつ正絹着物生地を染めた耳飾りです。

文月　重ね色目『若蝦手』

重ね色目「若蝦手（わかかえで）」（別名：若楓、若鶏冠木）は、初夏にみずみずしく芽吹いた青々とした若い楓（カエデ）の葉や花を表現した、夏の季節の配色です。

表：淡青　（※平安時代における「青」は現代の緑色に近い、爽やかな新緑の色を指します）
裏：紅

由来：「蝦手（かえで）」とは、葉の形がカエルの手（蛙手＝かえるで）に似ていることから付いた「カエデ」の古名・雅称です。
　まだ紅葉する前の青々とした柔らかな楓の葉（表の淡青）のなかに、初夏にひっそりと咲く小さく赤い楓の花や実、あるいは赤みを帯びた若芽の軸（裏の紅）がのぞく様子を、美しいコントラストで表現しています

絹ならではの光沢と発色が美しく、淡水パールがより一層上品な印象を与えます。

コーディネートのポイントに、また誕生日月の贈り物としてもおすすめの一品です。

平安時代の宮中で着物を重ね着する際、時節によって配色が決められていました。世界最古の配色便覧とも称されています。

京友禅は日本の伝統工芸の一つで着物を染める技法のことを指します。
手作業で作られているため、少々ばらつきがございます。

・水濡れや汗はシミ、色落ちの原因となりますので避けてください。
・強い光や直射日光は避けてください。褪色が進みます。

These are earrings dyed with Kyoto Yuzen dyeing.

The ancient color combination for July is "Young maple (frog's hand)."

"Waka-kaede" (also known as "Young Maple") is a *kasane-irome* (layered color combination) for the summer season; it evokes the lush, vibrant green leaves and blossoms of young maple trees as they sprout fresh and full of life in early summer.

Outer layer: Pale blue (*usu-ao*)
*Note: In the Heian period, the color "ao" (blue) referred to a fresh, verdant green hue similar to modern green.
Inner layer: Crimson (*kurenai*)

Origin: "Waka-kaede" (literally "frog-hand") is an archaic and poetic name for the maple tree, derived from the resemblance of its leaves to a frog's hand. This term beautifully captures the contrast found in the tree during early summer: amidst the soft, lush green maple leaves (pale blue-green on the upper surface), one catches glimpses of small red flowers, fruit, or the reddish stalks of young shoots (crimson on the underside).

The shine and color of the silk, combined with the freshwater pearls, gives it an elegant impression.

When layering kimonos at the Imperial Court during the Heian period(C7〜C12), color schemes were determined according to the season. It is said to be the world's oldest color scheme guide.

Kyo-Yuzen is a traditional Japanese craft and is a technique for dyeing kimonos.
This product is using the hand-dyed Kyo-Yuzen dyeing method. As it is made by hand, there may be slight variations in color.
The pattern may also appear differently depending on how the fabric is cut.
